Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”) and Magic Crystal Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong with its registered office at 28 Wellington Street, Central, Hong Kong (“we”, “us”, “our”), governing your access to and use of bio.page (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

bio.page is a hosted “link-in-bio” service that lets users create a single landing page aggregating links, content blocks, contact details, and similar items, and share that page with their audience.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
• One person or entity per account. Account sharing or resale is prohibited unless agreed in writing.

3. Subscriptions, Billing and Taxes

• The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid plan features and prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with notice as set out in Section 11.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
• Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
• Prices are exclusive of taxes. Where required by law, applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax will be added at checkout.
• You authorise us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method for each renewal until you cancel.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then. Specific terms are set out in our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy, both of which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to publish, host, link to, or distribute content that:

• infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights;
• is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or threatening;
• sexually exploits, endangers, or depicts minors;
• promotes terrorism, hate speech, or incitement to violence;
• contains malware, phishing, or fraud;
• violates the privacy or publicity rights of others;
• circumvents or attempts to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls;
• uses the Service for cryptocurrency mining, denial-of-service attacks, spam, or unauthorised automated scraping.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, and we may cooperate with law enforcement where required.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (“User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and display your User Content solely as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service. This licence ends when you remove the User Content or close your account, except for backup copies that may persist for up to 30 days.

7. Our Intellectual Property

The Service itself, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by Magic Crystal Limited or its licensors. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by mandatory law, you may not copy, modify, decompile, or create derivative works of the Service.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We may perform planned maintenance, and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that any User Content will not be lost.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including, in the EU, your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription as described in Section 4.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms (including the Acceptable Use provisions), for non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, Sections 6, 7, 9, 10, and 13 survive.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong, except that consumers resident in the EU/EEA retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence under mandatory consumer-protection law.
